Document Binding

Document binding is the core innovation that enables Integra’s verification capabilities.

When you bind a document with Integra:

  1. A cryptographic hash of the document is generated
  2. The hash is recorded on blockchain via an EAS attestation
  3. The attestation creates an immutable, timestamped proof
Document → SHA-256 Hash → EAS Attestation → Blockchain

The document itself is never stored on-chain. Only the hash is recorded, ensuring:

  • Privacy - Document contents remain private
  • Efficiency - Minimal on-chain storage
  • Immutability - Hash cannot be altered once recorded

To verify a document:

  1. Hash the document using the same algorithm
  2. Query the blockchain for matching attestations
  3. Compare timestamps and attestation details

Integra supports document binding on 20+ blockchains, allowing you to choose the network that best fits your needs.
