Document Binding
Document Binding
Section titled “Document Binding”Document binding is the core innovation that enables Integra’s verification capabilities.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”When you bind a document with Integra:
- A cryptographic hash of the document is generated
- The hash is recorded on blockchain via an EAS attestation
- The attestation creates an immutable, timestamped proof
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”Document → SHA-256 Hash → EAS Attestation → BlockchainThe document itself is never stored on-chain. Only the hash is recorded, ensuring:
- Privacy - Document contents remain private
- Efficiency - Minimal on-chain storage
- Immutability - Hash cannot be altered once recorded
Verification
Section titled “Verification”To verify a document:
- Hash the document using the same algorithm
- Query the blockchain for matching attestations
- Compare timestamps and attestation details
Multi-Chain Support
Section titled “Multi-Chain Support”Integra supports document binding on 20+ blockchains, allowing you to choose the network that best fits your needs.
